Orthopedic Surgery Continuing Medical Education

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Langone has been sponsoring postgraduate continuing medical education (CME) programs in every major orthopedic subspecialty for decades and has held grand rounds lectures since our origins as an academic medical institution. We host live CME programs at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, NYU Langone Orthopedic Center, and Tisch Hospital.

In addition, our department hosts the following CME-accredited lectures throughout the year as part of the academic calendar of NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. Guest speakers from orthopedic institutions across the country speak at each of these grand rounds events:

  • The Alfred Grant Lecture—Biannual Pediatric Orthopedic Lecture
  • The Melvin Jahss Lecture—Biannual Foot and Ankle Surgery Lecture
  • The Sir Robert Jones Alumni Scientific Program Annual Lecture, with a different subspecialty focus every year
  • The Emanuel Kaplan Lecture—Biannual Hand Surgery Lecture
  • The Harry Reicher Lecture—Biannual Orthopedic Research Lecture
  • The Herman Robbins Lecture—Biannual Pediatric Orthopedic Lecture
