Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Education

NYU Langone’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center is committed to professional development throughout the career course, offering events and seminars year-round. As part of our commitment to increasing the number of scientists and clinicians working in the fields of brain aging, neurodegeneration, and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, we place special emphasis on supporting early-career scientists interested in these areas.

Educational Programs for Professionals

We are proud to offer multiple programs and opportunities that facilitate interdisciplinary training, provide critical professional skills and career-building guidance for young scientists, and offer access to funding to support research activities.

Educational programs include our Research Education Component Scholars Program and our National Institutes of Health–sponsored T32 postdoctoral training program.

Educational Resources for Patients

Whether you or a loved one has been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, or if you are simply interested in learning more about the condition, we are proud to offer a range of free educational resources on Alzheimer’s disease. These include downloadable fact sheets and our newsletter, as well as access to public lectures and seminars on new research about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
