Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center T32-Funded Postdoctoral Training Program

As part of our mission to develop future leaders in the fields of research on dementia, neurodegeneration, and the aging brain, NYU Langone’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center is proud to offer clinician-scientists and basic scientists a T32 postdoctoral training opportunity.

The Postdoctoral Research Training in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Neurodegenerative Disorders is funded through award number T32AG052909 from the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

This training program incorporates basic, clinical, and translational research in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, neurodegenerative diseases, and disorders of brain aging. The program offers up to two years of stipend support, funds for research-related expenses, and comprehensive training in career and research project development.

T32 fellows are immersed in an interdisciplinary environment and receive expert advice from leaders in the field. Fellows work with mentors on the fundamentals of neurodegenerative diseases, rigorous research methodology, clinical approaches, and proper statistical analysis. Additionally, the training program includes workshops on grant writing, networking, lab management, and journal clubs.
