We only accept applications to NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Infectious Diseases and Immunology Fellowship through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

For application deadlines, please refer to the ERAS website. We require the following documents, along with your application through ERAS:

• common application form
• three letters of reference, including one from your residency program director or department chair
• U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) transcripts
• medical school transcript

We have four available fellow positions per year. Selected applicants will be contacted for interviews, which are held from August to October.

We encourage prospective applicants to contact our program director, Scott A. Weisenberg, MD, during the application process for advice on identifying a potential mentor who aligns with your interests. You can select a mentor from faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, the Department of Microbiology, or the Department of Population Health.

Please note that we do not sponsor H-1B visas for house staff, residents, or fellows. J-1 visa sponsorship is available through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
