NYU Langone’s Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Care, and Pain Medicine is dedicated to the advanced training of physicians. We offer comprehensive, one-year fellowships in the following specialized anesthesiology care and pain medicine areas:

• cardiothoracic anesthesiology
• critical care anesthesiology
• obstetric anesthesiology
• pain medicine
• pediatric anesthesiology
• regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine

In addition to outstanding training, fellows receive a stipend that is commensurate with postgraduate year status. They also receive comprehensive benefits, including a graduate education fund; a departmental conference fund; and medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and malpractice insurance. Insurance coverage is also available for dependents. Paid leave consists of 20 days. Sick leave is offered in accordance with NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s policies.
