The Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) Developmental Projects Program

The Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center announces the initiation of its 2015 Developmental Projects Program. The Program is designed to support cancer-focused research projects that address an important and immediate clinical problem, have a high likelihood of generating key preliminary data to lead to externally funded grants, and move forward the strategic initiatives of the Perlmutter Cancer Center’s Research Programs.

The Perlmutter Cancer Center will provide cancer-focused developmental project awards for a period of one year. All Faculty Members at any School within New York University proposing cancer-focused projects will be considered. Priority will be given to collaborative projects, particularly those projects whose collaboration is between Research Programs and Disease Management Groups. Projects that may support an investigator initiated trial or correlative studies of high profile clinical trials are of particular interest. This support may be used for projects in basic, clinical/translational, or population sciences research. Grant awards will be made for up to $50,000 in direct costs for individual projects, and up to $100,000 in direct costs for joint projects led by a basic researcher and clinician.
