Partnership between New York University (NYU), NYU Langone Medical Center (NYULMC) and the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) that has been designed to transform the way that research is carried out, enhancing the quality and productivity of research efforts at these institutions and across the nation as part of the NIH/NCATS CTSA consortium.

Provides administrative services related to the testing in clinical trials, including both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies, overseeing the conduct of clinical research studies.

Responsible for approving risk assessment and the biosafety containment levels for experiments.

ESCRO

Embryonic Stem Cell Research Oversight (ESCRO)

For NYULMC faculty and other NYULMC researchers wishing to work with human embryonic stem cells or other human pluripotent stem cells or human pluripotent stem cell lines. The committee must approve and register all protocols before use.

OTA

Office of Therapeutics Alliances (OTA)

Focuses on increasing the value of NYU emerging technologies and therapeutics to enable successful licensing and partnerships with existing and startup biopharma companies.


OIL

Office of Industrial Liaison (OIL)

Promotes the commercial development of NYU technologies from its Medical Center and Washington Square campuses into products to benefit the public and facilitates research collaborations between NYU researchers and industry on projects of mutual interest.
