The NYU department of radiology takes great pride in training and educating radiologists of all ages and experiences. From trainees to radiologists in clinical practice, our goal is to provide an up to date, comprehensive and stimulating curriculum that prepares our students for the challenges faced in today’s medical environment. Our main education goal is to help shape the future leaders of radiology.
Two residencies are offered at NYU Langone Medical Center:
Our department offers a total of 10 different fellowship programs. Fellowship training, considered by some as the most important training a radiologist takes part in during his/her career, is important at NYU. Trainees come from all around the world to train in an environment that emphasizes the importance of diagnostic and interventional skills, teaching others, and producing important, clinical and basic science research that has an impact on how medicine is performed.

Continuing Medical Education
As part of a leading academic and clinical institution, the NYU Department of Radiology has been sponsoring exceptional postgraduate CME programs for over 20 years. Programs include live CME conferences and visiting fellowships. CME offerings are held in New York City, throughout the U.S. and abroad. Our core objective is to educate registrants with the most up-to-date imaging techniques and medical knowledge in order to improve diagnoses and patient care, always striving for the perfect balance between practical essentials and advanced imaging techniques, which can be applied in daily clinical practice.
