Woodhull Hospital Center established in 1982 is part of the Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC). The 388 bed hospital is the hub of the North Brooklyn Health, one of the many networks operated by the Health and Hospital Corporation. The Hospital became affiliated with the New York University Medical Center as of August 2007.
Inpatient Mental Health Services comprises 135 acute inpatient psychiatric beds and 38 medically managed detox beds.
Outpatient Mental Health Services offered to the community include: Adult Mental Health Clinic, Child and Adolescent Clinic, Chemical Dependency Clinic, Assertive Community Treatment Program, Psychiatric Emergency Service (7/24/365), Mobile Crisis Service, Assisted Outpatient Treatment or Kendra's Law for Kings and Richmond Counties, Cumberland Mental Health Clinic, Cumberland Geriatric Day Treatment Program, Cumberland Family Health and Support Program, Cumberland's Chemical Dependency Program, and Tobacco Cessation Services.
