The Division of Pediatric Critical Care

The division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine consists of two Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) within the NYU Langone Medical Center (NYULMC). The Division is also involved in a busy inter-hospital transport service.

The Division provides active clinical services for medical and surgical critically ill patients with 1,000 admissions per year.  The two intensive care units are referral centers for severe pediatric seizure disorders, craniofacial dysmorphologies, acute organ dysfunction and coordination of technological support such as mechanical ventilation, renal replacement and cardiac output augmentation.
