Vocal Cord Carcinoma

Left Vocal Cord Carcinoma

This patient was seen because of complaints of persistent hoarseness. He was found to have a lesion on the left vocal cord (arrow). This was biopsied, and found to be cancerous.

Cancerous Lesion

This patient complained of hoarseness. Biopsy of this lesion (arrow) in the operating room revealed that it was cancerous.

Vocal Cord Carcinoma 3

This patient complained of hoarseness and breathing difficulty. This lesion was seen, and biopsied in the operating room. It was a cancer. It was removed using jet ventilation (advanced technique of delivering oxygen to the lungs without intubation) and CO 2 laser.
