Tracheal Dilation

This patient had complaints of difficulty breathing. On tracheoscopy (first picture), she was found to have a narrowing in her trachea (arrow). This patient underwent a CO2 laser procedure designed to widen her trachea (second picture). Patients may often require several such procedures to give them enough room to breathe.
