Medialization Laryngoplasty
This patient complained of hoarseness, and was found to have vocal cord bowing (incomplete closure of the vocal cords). This is demonstrated on the first picture, where one can notice that there is a gap between the vocal cords (arrow). After medialization laryngoplasty, there is adequate closure of the vocal cords (second picture), and a consequent improvement in the voice.
