This manual is based on the Recovery Treatment Program developed by the Division of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of New York University Medical Center at Bellevue Hospital Center under contract grant from the New York State Addiction Technology Transfer Center. The New York State ATTC is a federal initiative funded through the Department of Mental Health and Human Services’ Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), directed by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services, and managed by the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy Professional Development Program, 1998. The source material was compiled by Aimee Trotter under the supervision of the Recovery Clinic Director, Carlotta Schuster and staff. This material was further developed into a training manual for staff by Drs. Helen Dermatis and Susan Egelko.
