The NYU Medical Student Health Service supports student well-being through an extensive program of services and education.  Good health is an essential part of a successful educational experience.

The Medical Student Health Service office is open Monday through Friday. The office is always staffed with a Nurse Practitioner. One hour a day there is a Doctor Medical Clinic where there is an internist available.

No appointment is needed for the Student Health Service or the Doctor Medical Clinic.

The MISSION of the Medical Student Health Service is to provide quality Medical care to the ill or injured student in a nonjudgmental environment that respects individual differences.  We seek to assist the student in navigating the health care system to achieve an optimum level of health and well-being.

The COST for visiting the student Health Service is included with your student activity fee.  There is no charge to students regardless of how many times they visit and what type of health insurance they carry.

The STUDENTS ELIGIBLE to receive services at Student Health are medical students, MD/PhD student and Sackler Institute of Biomedical Sciences Graduate Students.
