An objective of the Master Scholars Program is to encourage an understanding of professionalism and to create an arena to strengthen what students' value in their professional lives. The Program prepares students to enter the medical profession by providing skills to recognize, analyze, and respond appropriately to conflicts between values of professionalism and daily pressures of medical life. Students are asked to record their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to reflect on their development of professionalism throughout their medical education at NYU.
