During the four years of medical education, many students become interested
in doing some special projects, participating in an away opportunity, or just
in showcasing a particular interest. Regardless of the type of experience,
most initiatives outside the regular medical education experience cost money.
The Office of Student Affairs has compiled a database of grants, scholarships, and
awards that may provide some assistance or even help shape the project
a student may want to do.
Opportunities are identified as a grant, scholarship, or award. You can search
the database by any these categories or simply do a general review of all listings.
We recommend that you use this database in conjunction with the summer opportunities
database to see if there are any opportunities of interest to which you can
apply these funding sources.
Other public health student opportunities can also be found here. This site is provided by the American Public Health Assembly and lists many opportunities for awards, grants, fellowships, and more.
For more information or for hard copies of materials, if they are available,
contact the Office of Student Affairs at (212) 263-3804.
