Risk Factors
Although you cannot control some risk factors for stroke, such as age, sex, race, heredity, certain blood conditions and prior history of stroke, you have some ways of controlling other factors.
The following are the conditions or behaviors that predispose one to have a stroke.

History of Stroke or TIA

Heredity and Race
