SPA - Revised Organizational Structure
As the SPA office strives to continually improve service to the research community, we are pleased to announce a revised organizational structure. Effective immediately, SPA personnel will be aligned into teams with the Grant Specialists on each team taking responsibility for assisting a group of departments and divisions. The assigned Grants Specialist for your department will be your primary contact and will handle most issues including (but not limited to) proposals, award set-ups and award maintenance issues. The Grant Specialists will be supported by a Grants Assistant and a Senior Manager for each team. We believe that this approach will enhance communication with members of the research community and will help SPA better meet your needs.
The document below, also available on the SPA web page, includes the revised organizational structure and departmental assignments. I am pleased to note that this revised structure includes new roles for everyone on the SPA staff, and many well-deserved promotions. Please join me in thanking the members of the staff for stepping up to take on these new roles.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your newly designated SPA representative, or any member of SPA management. As always, I welcome your comments and concerns.
Thank you.
Kathy Gallagher
Vice Dean for Administration
