[Flexbw] Implementation of New Human
Resources/Payroll System -- New Paycheck Format
Over
the past month, you should have received a mailing at
your home that advised you that we were in the process
of changing to a new Human Resources/Payroll computer
system. This conversion
has now occurred and beginning with your paycheck issued this
Thursday (since you are paid bi-weekly), you will notice a new
format for your paycheck/paystub. Every faculty and staff
member at NYU School of Medicine, NYU Hospitals
Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases has been sent either
a letter to their home or an email that describes the
changes as a result of this conversion.
The
new HR/PR system will produce paychecks with a significantly
different look than the old system. As a result, we are
asking you to review the attached letter carefully. Because
there are a number of different pay groups with varying pay
and benefit programs, this document is tailored to show you
only those changes that impact you personally. Therefore,
please be careful in comparing information with colleagues
as the pay and benefit plans they are subject to may
differ from yours.
In
addition, we have developed several communication methods
that will be available to you so that Human Resources
and Payroll can address questions that you may have once
you receive your paycheck on Thursday; those options
are addressed in the attached letter. The dedicated
