Re:   Replacement of "@MSNYUHEALTH.org" address domain with "@NYUMC.org"

As a result of the ongoing technology separation from Mount Sinai Medical Center, NYU Medical Center is nearing total separation of email operations from Mount Sinai.  The resulting changes will have minimal impact on NYU School of Medicine Popmail users with one important exception:

Effective August 26, 2005, email which is addressed to persons at NYU with the "@MSNYUHEALTH.org" domain address will not be delivered or forwarded. Colleagues who are at Mount Sinai and using MYNYUHEALTH may still retain that address for some period.

Popmail Users should update their individual Popmail Address books and change all NYU listings which include "@MSNYUHEALTH.ORG" to the new primary NYU Hospitals email domain: "@NYUMC.ORG".

No other email domains besides "@MSNYUHEALTH.ORG" will be affected. School of Medicine IT personnel have already changed all public broadcast email lists to reflect this change.
