The connective tissue disease section incorporates cutaneous lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, morphea/scleroderma, vasculitis, and all cutaneous manifestations of rheumatic and autoimmune disease. Patients with unusual or difficult diagnosis or treatment issues benefit from its consultative approach. Since the attending physician is both a board certified rheumatologist as well as a board certified dermatologist, patients benefit from his experience in their global disease as it relates to their cutaneous manifestations.
