CoursesRotations Mentoring Seminars & MeetingsExams & Thesis Work In the Developmental Genetics Seminar Series and Journal Club, speakers are regularly invited to present their research to both departments. Speakers provide a few papers that serve for discussion among the students and faculty in the week prior to the seminar.

In weekly Student Research Meetings within each department, students present their research in front of faculty and peers. This forum provides graduate students with valuable practice in presenting their research to a larger group of scientists.

Semiannually, all members of the DG track get together for a Student Research Symposium in which the research-active DG students present their work to fellow DG students and faculty. These symposia also provide a time for interaction with other students and faculty.
