Adult Spasticity Clinic

Treatments Provided

Adult patients with spasticity are evaluated in the clinic on an outpatient basis. Treatments offered may include physical and occupational therapies, splinting, medications, and injections. When appropriate, patients are followed over time to monitor progress and adjust treatment.

Injection therapies offered include injection of botulinum toxin, an exciting and relatively new treatment option with fewer side effects than older injection therapies. (This treatment may require prior approval from an insurance carrier, and can not routinely be given on a first visit.)
