The Rusk Institute is widely recognized for its groundbreaking work in the development of treatment programs and neuropsychological rehabilitation of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and family difficulties resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, aneurysm, or other illnesses and disorders that affect the brain. Education and treatment programs for families are an important component of the integrated approach to rehabilitation.
The outpatient psychology department provides a full range of neuropsychological services within the context of a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.
