Fees for Services

Will be made available upon request.

Payment Method

The Brain Injury Day Treatment Program accepts two forms of payment for the services rendered.

I. Self-Payment

Some clients (or their families) wish to assume direct responsibility for payment.

  • Payment, in full, is required at the time services are rendered for the basic and extended neuropsychological evaluations. A certified bank check for the full amount, made out to The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, must be brought on the first day of the evaluation process.
  • Payment for the 20-week intensive treatment cycle is either made in full, in advance, or payment for each month of treatment is to be delivered prior to the first day of that month. (Only a certified bank check is acceptable).
II. Insurance and Third-Party Payments
  • Insurance and third-party payments, in full, are also accepted.
  • We must receive written pre-authorization from your insurance carrier, guaranteeing payment, in full, prior to scheduling a neuropsychological evaluation or accepting a candidate for treatment in our program.
  • It is the responsibility of the client (or client's significant others) to obtain said prior approval.
  • In selected cases, clients (or their families) agree to accept responsibility for payment of the total cost and elect to have the insurance company reimburse the client (family) directly.
  • We do not accept third-party partial payments, except in the case when client (or client family) guarantees, in advance, that fees will be covered in full.
