Volunteers

In addition to its horticulture and horticultural therapy professionals, the Glass Garden relies upon volunteers to serve many important functions.  There are more than 20 volunteers helping in the Garden each week and their service is valued at more than 7,560 hours per year.  Some volunteers help in the patient programs, some in the greenhouse, and some assist with research initiatives.  They all participate in our plant sales and Annual Community Festival and their enduring support enhances the Garden’s programs inestimably.  If you would like information about volunteering, please call (212) 263-6058.
