FAQs: Physical and Occupational Therapies

Q. Do you have an Outpatient Therapy program?
A. Yes, we have an outpatient practice that specializes in the care and treatment of patients with balance and vestibular (inner ear) problems, and another that includes physical therapy treatment for all other diagnoses (i.e., spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, sports injuries, golf injuries, back problems, vascular issues, stroke, and many more). We also have a Women?s Health program, which offers physical therapy for pre- and postpartum, lymphedema management, incontinence, and other conditions.

Q. Do you have a therapeutic pool?
A. Yes we do. It is used for both our inpatient rehabilitation programs and our outpatient practice.

Q. Do you have a specialty program in balance problems?
A. Yes. Our Vestibular Therapy Practice is located 660 First Avenue (at 37th Street). This program has an entire team of physical therapists who specialize in the care and treatment of individuals with vestibular dysfunction and other balance-related disorders.
