Research Summary
The research is part of a joint research program between Gallaudet University and NYU School of Medicine. In one of the studies, we are studying a method of evaluating performance with hearing aids in the real world, rather than the laboratory. In another study, we are studying how classroom acoustics (room reverberation and noise) affect the speech recognition performance of children.
