Research Interests
Dr. Finger has a particular interest in ophthalmic radiation therapy. As part of the task for plaque irradiation of choroidal melanoma for both the American Brachytherapy Society and the American Association for Physicists in Medicine. He has continued to work on making plaque irradiation safer and more effective. He has pioneered the use of palladium-103 plaque radiation, 3D ultrasound plaque localization, and laser photocoagulation in the treatment of radiation.
