Brooke and Daniel Neidich Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Professor of Radiology / Director of Research, NYU Child Study Center
Research Summary
We are conducting a range of studies all focused on understanding the neuronal substrates of the various conditions which are currently comprised within the syndromal diagnosis of ADHD. The approaches we use include functional and structural MRI, and optical imaging of cerebral hemodynamics. We are also conducting preclinical studies focusing on understanding the development of the brain and the ways it is affected by low-dose administration of stimulants using rodent models of ADHD.
