Stress Measurement

Measurement of pressure and stress at the interface between tissue and shoes or prosthetic sockets is invaluable to the study of achieving proper fit and preventing tissue injury and ulcers.

Tekscan FScan is used to measure the pressure distribution between the floor and the shoe.

Tekscan PScan is used to measure the pressure distribution between BK residual limb and socket.

The RERC custom built indentor & software measures tissue displacement for a given force over time as well as rebound displacement and force once load is stopped.
