Registration is required for all visiting students for all electives. On the first day of your elective, please report to the Office of Registration/Student Records, Greenberg Hall, 545 First Avenue (directly opposite Main Building), 6th Floor - Suite 6M. Office Hours are 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.
The following items will be required at registration:
Photo Identification: Photo ID must be presented (i.e., current school ID badge / driver’s license)
Registration form: Please print a copy of the Visiting Student Elective Registration form and bring it with you.
Registration fee: The Registration fee is $100. Please bring a check or money order payable to NYU School of Medicine. Cash is not accepted
After registration is complete, the Registrar’s Office will provide you with a memo for the NYUSOM Security Office to issue a temporary Visiting Student Elective ID badge.
If you were notified by the Registrar’s Office that your application is incomplete, promptly forward the requested information by fax/mail in advance of your elective start date. You will not be permitted to begin an elective until this information is received.
Please direct all scheduling confirmation request to the coordinator for the elective you have applied for. We also recommend that you obtain elective reporting details (location, time) from the coordinator prior to your arrival. Cancellation notice should be provided at least 30 days in advance.
