Radiology Research at NYU
The goals of the research initiatives in the department of Radiology at NYU, led by Dr. Michael Recht, are to apply new and innovative technologies to challenging clinical problems in order to improve patient health. The department’s fast-growing research program headed by Dr. Daniel Sodickson is currently one of the leading radiology departments nationwide in terms of NIH funding. The staff consists of 16 full-time research scientists, who are assisted by numerous support scientists, research associates, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, research residents, and administrative personnel.
