Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Bencardino, formerly Director of Musculoskeletal MRI at Massachussets General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, has authored numerous articles in the field of Musculoskeletal Radiology including 8 Book Chapters and 64 articles and abstracts. Her main interest include MR imaging applications in Sports Medicine and Distinction of Normal Anatomy from Disease in Musculoskeletal MR imaging. Dr. Bencardino is a reviewer for Skeletal Radiology and has lectured extensively on topics such as SLAP lesions of the Shoulder, Glenohumeral Instability, MR imaging of the hip in sports- related injuries, Entrapment Neuropathies of the Hip and Pelvis and Normal Variants and Pitfalls in Musculoskeletal MR imaging.
