Group Psychotherapy

The group psychotherapy component of the internship provides both clinical experience as well as didactic and supervisory instruction in group psychotherapy. As part of their outpatient caseloads, interns co-lead a psychotherapy group, sometimes working with a fellow psychology intern and sometimes with a psychiatric resident. There is considerable variety with regard to patient population in these groups. One hour of supervision is provided each week per group.
