In this era of biomedical psychiatry and managed care, does it make sense to become an analyst? How do practitioners make their work professionally and economically satisfying? How can the advanced study of psychoanalysis enhance the clinician's practice? In this timely and forthright discussion, Institute faculty will examine these critical questions, sharing their experience from private practice. Join Institute faculty and candidates for an informal dinner and conversation about the Institute's psychoanalytic training program.

Location:
Faculty Dining Room, NYU Medical Center, 530-560 First Avenue, between 30th and 34th Street. The Faculty Dining Room is on ground floor in the Medical School. Signs will be posted, and the Security Guards can assist you.

How to attend:
There is no charge for the Open House/Dinner, but pre-registration is necessary. Please email the office at nyu-psa-institute@popmail.med.nyu.edu or call us at (212-263-6243) and tell us your name, address and affiliation to sign up.
