This course will concentrate on the initial phases in a psychoanalysis
while also establishing a conceptual outline that informs a theory of
technique. We will thus touch upon the initial contact between patient
and analyst and the development of an atmosphere facilitating analytic work while we
also focus on specific practical issues of psychoanalytic technique during
the ongoing psychoanalytic process.
