Directions to administrative office and training classrooms:
The Institute's Office is located in the Psychiatric Outpatient Unit at Bellevue Hospital, (CD building, 2nd Floor). Enter the hospital complex at First Avenue at 28th Street.

Saturday mornings (psychoanalytic classes) and Tuesday evenings (psychotherapy classes)

Enter through the atrium (photo ID necessary), and proceed straight back towards the old building (follow “Hospital and Emergency Room” sign). 

Proceed to the end of the entrance corridor and turn left at the vending machines.  Take the B-1 or B-2 elevator to the second floor, which delivers you to the Child/Adolescent Clinic lobby.  Turn right for classrooms, and at the end of this long corridor, turn left for the office. 

Weekdays until 7:00 pm

 At the end of the entrance corridor follow the traffic right and then left so that the cafeteria is behind you and the gift shop is on your left.  The first corridor to your right is marked “to CD building.”  Take the elevator at the end of this hallway to the 2nd floor; turn left at the security guard. 

Parking – best deals:

Tuesday night: West Plaza Garage 26th Street, on East 26 Street between First and Second Avenues, on the right hand (north) side of the street.  Evening rate: $9.00

Saturday morning: East Plaza Garage (28th Street between First & Second Aves.), all-day rate is $10.00

Subway and Bus:

Lexington Avenue #6: exit at 28th Street (and Park Avenue South), and walk four blocks east to First Avenue. 

M-15 bus stops at 29th Street and First Avenue.
