What is the difference between the Print Shop and Rapid Repro?
The Printing Services department consists of two sub departments: Print Shop and Rapid Repro.
The Print Shop is responsible for most printing specified in the Price List portion of our site.
Rapid Repro is responsible for low & medium quantity black & white copies.
Does the Printing Services department accept private jobs?
Yes we do. We can accept payments of Checks or American Express, Master Card, Visa Credit Cards. For Credit Card payments please complete our Credit Card Authorization Form and fax to (212) 263-2930 to attention of Korgun Maral.
You may also pay with Cash, Credit Card, Check
via direct deposit into our account through the Tisch Hospital Cashiers (Located in TH-179) Please contact Korgun Maral for more details.
Who can I contact about getting a quote?
Anthony Velazquez and Korgun Maral are the only employees authorized to provide quotes beyond what is specified in our Price List.
How do I send files to the Printing Services Department?
You may e-mail the file(s) to the Print Shop employee handling your job.
If the file is too large you may send us the files on a Floppy Disk, burned CD/DVD, Zip 100/250 Disk via interoffice mail or messenger.
You may also bring your USB memory stick/hard drive to the Print Shop to give us the files on the spot.
We also have a new FTP server where you may upload files. To get an account for our FTP Server plase complete our FTP Access Request Form and fax to (212) 263-2930 to attention of Korgun Maral.
How may I submit an order?
You may either bringing the job along with an IOI to the Print Shop or Rapid Repro or
send the job along with an IOI to the Print Shop via interoffice mail or messenger service.
In urgent circumstances we are able to accept jobs via fax or e-mail; however please either arrange for us to receive the real IOI before the job is completed or please talk to Korgun Maral or Victor Diaz in the Print Shop to arrange for the IOI to be picked up when the job is delivered.
Who can I contact about status of my job?
For typesetting or poster printing work please contact the designated typesetter for your job, if you don't know the designated typesetter please contact Gene Schultz.
For printing work in the Print Shop please contact either Korgun Maral or Victor Diaz.
For copying work in Rapid Repro please contact George Lucido or Korgun Maral.
For printing of labels please contact Korgun Maral or Gene Schultz.

What software do the Print Shop typesetters use?
Our typesetters mainly use Acrobat, Illustrator, Pagemaker, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Publisher, Quark and Word.
If the program you use is not on here please contact the Gene Schultz and we will do our best to accomidate your needs.
What PMS color is the NYU purple?
The NYU purple is PMS 266.
