Clinical Responsibilities

Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She was a resident and chief resident in ophthalmology at New York University School of Medicine and completed a retinal research fellowship at University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in retinal vascular diseases and a vitreo-retinal fellowship in surgical retina at Washington University- Barnes Hospital. She is the author of numerous articles, chapters and a textbook on diabetic retinopathy. Her research interests include the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy. She is currently Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina, macula and vitreous and is the Chief of Service at Tisch Hospital, NYU Langone Medical Center. She has been elected to the Association of Retinal Specialists, the Retina Society and the New York Ophthalmological Society.
