Clinical Responsibilities

Rahil Jummani, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist and child and adolescent psychiatrist with special expertise in ADHD. He is the Medical Director of the NYU Child Study Center Long Island Campus, Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. Dr. Jummani received his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and his M.D. from the University of Florida. He completed a residency in General Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Jummani subsequently completed a fellowship in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program at the NYU School of Medicine, where he was also Chief Resident. Dr. Jummani has completed an American Medical Association/Education and Research Foundation Fellowship, a National Institute of Health Medical Student Research Fellowship, and an APA/SAMSHA Minority Fellowship. He is the recipient of The Dr. Henry P. and M. Page Durkee Laughlin Foundation Merit Award and has been recognized as a Distinguished Laughlin Fellow. For his dedication to education, Dr. Jummani has been awarded the George Ginsberg-AADPRT Fellowship. Dr. Jummani is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and the American Medical Association. His work has been published in the Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology, Pediatric Neurology, and the Archives of Neurology.
