Clinical Responsibilities

Jenny Frances, M.D., M.P.H. is a pediatric orthopedist and an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. She specializes in scoliosis surgery, pediatric fracture care, lower extremity deformity, leg length discrepancy and pediatric hip disorders including slipped capital femoral epiphysis, Legg-Calve-Perthes disease and developmental dysplasia of the hip. Together with Dr. Wallace Lehman, she provides multi-disciplinary care for clubfeet and other foot deformities at the Tuesday afternoon clinic at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Center for Children. Dr. Frances completed her Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2009. She did her Orthopedic Surgical Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. She also had the pleasure of working as a guest surgeon at Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden for short period of three months in 2008. She completed her Medical School Training at Weill Medical College and has an MPH degree in Health Policy & Management from Columbia School of Public Health. She is interested in outcomes research in pediatric orthopedics.
