Lisa Doan, MD is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at NYU School of Medicine within the Department of Anesthesiology. She obtained her M.D. degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2003 and completed residency at New York University.; Areas of technical expertise include nerve blocks; musculoskeletal blocks including shoulder, hip, and knee injections; spinal injection techniques for diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain syndromes including epidural steroid injections, facet injections, selective root blocks, radiofrequency, and spinal cord stimulators.; Areas of clinical expertise include low back and neck pain of musculoskeletal and spinal origin, cancer pain, and neuropathic pain syndromes such as painful peripheral neuropathies and complex regional pain syndrome.
