How to apply for the clinical electives

Students interested in completing an away elective at NYU PM&R should visit the following website: http://www.med.nyu.edu/registrar/electives/application.html

Please be sure to fill out both forms in detail (the application and health clearance) and send it to the address listed above. Applications are generally submitted for the month before you would like to rotate at NYU; however, you may start sending them in as early as March 1 since positions fill quickly. In general, 7 students may rotate at any one time. Students who do complete electives through our department are not guaranteed a spot in the residency program. Likewise, those who do not rotate here are not penalized. Students will rotate through different departments to gain a better appreciation of the complete program and will have ample opportunity to interact with residents and attendings. We encourage students who are interested in PM&R and in NYU specifically to apply.
