Outline of Residency Program
During their PGY3 year, residents will be able to rotate through some of the other facilities partnered with NYU Rusk. For example, PGY3s will spend time at both Hospital for Joint Diseases and the Manhattan VA. At the former, residents will get additional exposure to musculoskeletal rehabilitation as well as an introduction to interventional pain management. During their PGY3 year, some residents will also be chosen to be Rusk Chief, and some will be able to complete their EMG rotations. Those residents who did not complete pediatrics or cardiac during their PGY2 year will rotate through them in this year. The PGY3 year includes a great deal more outpatient experience than PGY2 and will have fewer calls. Click here for more information.
