February, 2008 - As of 2/7/08, the NYU popmail system is no longer usable by residents for campus-wide email. Please go to the following link: www.nyuonsitehealth.org and click on the NYUMC Webmail link to log in using your ICIS username/password. This change is in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

April, 2008 - Dr. Moroz was again invited to participate as a Guest Examiner for Part II of the certifying examinations of the ABPMR. The examinations will be given in Rochester, Minnesota, on May 17 and 18, 2008.

May, 2008 - The NYU Rusk Alumni Database was officially launched on April 1, 2008 and contains more than 120 graduates and covers a 60-year time period. We hope this database provides a valuable resource to all past and future graduates. Click here to view it.

May, 2008 - On May 2-3, Judith Glaser, PGY3, presented a poster on geriatric needs assessment in Washington, DC.

May, 2008 - The first annual Teaching and Learning Retreat was held on June 13 in an ongoing effort to enhance the educational curriculum. All residents and attendings were invited to attend. The many ideas that came out of the meeting are currently being put into practice.

July, 2008 - PM&R residents will be attending the annual AAPM&R conference in San Diego, California in November, 2008 to present their posters. Click here to see the authors and titles.

July, 2008 - Since April of 2008, several residents have had the chance to publish articles ‘Rehab in Review’, a monthly printed journal created to keep up-to-date on recent publications pertaining to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Click here to read more.

October, 2008 - We are excited to announce that Dr. Varlotta will be hosting a conference at NYU on Peripheral Joint and Spinal Injections from October 23-24. Please click here to read more.

November, 2008 - PM&R residents volunteered at the ING NYC Marathon on Sunday, Nov 2 at the finish line tent. Drs. Varlotta and Lefkowitz were Team Captains for this event. Stay tuned for other opportunities in the near future in which to get involved.
