Primary Responsibilities
Dr. Morgan has written and collaborated on over 40 published papers and abstracts and has presented his work at numerous national and international scientific meetings including the International Liver Transplant Society, the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the Association for Academic Surgery.
Dr. Morgan is the Course Director of the Annual NYU Update in Liver Transplantation and is a member of many academic surgical societies. His research interests include donor imaging and bile duct management in adult living donor liver transplantation, hepatic stem cells, the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma with chemoembolization and liver transplantation, the use of plasma exchange in liver transplant recipients, and the management of recurrent hepatitis B and C following liver transplantation."
