Primary Responsibilities
Dr. Devon John completed an ASTS approved fellowship in liver and kidney transplantation at NYU Medical Center and the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn (SUNY Downstate). He went on to attain further training in pancreas transplantation and laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy at the University of Maryland Medical Systems. He joined the faculty at NYUMC on the summer of 1997. Besides interests in multi-organ transplantation, Dr. John is also a member of the UNOS minority affairs committee and is the chairperson of Brooklyn's minority organ and tissue transplant educational program (MOTTEP).
