Inpatient consultations are provided for Bellevue and Tisch Hospitals. The Pediatric Infectious Diseases consult team sees all consultation requests and oversees management of patients admitted from the outpatient Pediatric Infectious Diseases clinics.

The consultation team is organized and managed by the subspecialty resident who oversees, directs and teaches the other general pediatric residents and medical students rotating through the Pediatric Infectious Diseases service. Clinical rounds with the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Attending are held daily.
